Yield: 3 servings
2 c Cold leftover beef roast
1 c Soft bread crumbs
1 lg Egg
1/2 c Gravy
1/2 sm Onion
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 lg Egg; beaten
2 c Finely smashed corn flakes
- or Wheaties
Grind meat and onion together. Add bread crumbs, first
egg, gravy and Worcestershire. Mix well and form into
meatballs.
Beat second egg well.
Roll meatballs in beaten egg and then in cereal, coating
well.
Deep fry in oil approximately 3 minutes. Serve with or
without additional gravy. You can also use pork, chicken
or turkey in place of beef.
