Re: Nomination
Vince,

VC> > I respectfully decline the nomination.

VC> Why are you declining ?

My reasons are:

1) I don't think the mandate of an upper level *C is compatible with the
mandate of an FTSC-member. One could be accused of attempting to push an agenda
... there have been such FTSC-members that got elected for the wrong reasons
and with the wrong purpose in mind.

2) In my opinion it falls into the "too many hats" category

Which does not mean I do not appreciate the nomination, the combination of
mandates is a tad too complicated I find.

Take care,

RS> I'm guessing "FTSC Chair" and "FTSC Admin" are the same position?

How about "Moderator" and running ftsc.org ?

There's a whole history in Fido of people resigning from a specific position
and then keeping hovering above their successor...

OKay ... one message area at a time. I received your Netmail and Andrew's.
Right now, I am putting systems back online so I can do an official like
acceptance from one of my servers. ;-)
