Russian encodings in current use
SS> What exactly is worse with the North American sites' word wrapping?
This didn't take too long. Compare the tagline of this;
Both are utf-8 of the exact same earlier reply to you. Note the broken word
wrapping on fidonet.ozzmosis.com which is a server based in La Brea California.
It isn't exactly up to snuff utf8-wise is it? fghi.pp.ru on the otherhand
nailed it perfectly.
Imagine a pure Russian utf-8 message in comparison and even thought the correct
characters on fidonet.ozzmosis.com would be displayed the word wrapping of the
entire message would be screwy wouldn't it? I doubt it needs to be proved
though as the tagline clearly shows.
Life is good,
... Possunt quia posse videntur.
