Client: Seattle Children's Hospital
Job Summary: Client is seeking a talented individual who will design, imple=
ment and support the Cisco enterprise voice
platform. You will provide additional support of associated systems includi=
ng, Amtelco Definity, Red Alert, Web on Call and
NICE voice logger. You will provide day to day administration, operation, t=
roubleshooting and support for an advanced voice
network system that could involve multi-vendor systems using a common advan=
ced communications core.
-Will consult with leadership to develop and maintain business critical com=
munications and/or network-based voice product
-Responsible for planning, designing, and implementing scalable local and w=
ide area network solutions between multiple
platforms and protocols.
-Responsible for system performance, troubleshooting voice issues and coord=
inating installation efforts with appropriate
-Guide and mentor other voice engineers as well as work with other consulta=
nts and analysts in a cross team capacity
-Serve as the resource for IS, user and vendor personnel and will provide c=
ounsel and advice to leadership on matters of
voice system design and architecture.
-Develop solutions that best align with enterprise voice network requiremen=
ts, identifying cost-effective implementation and
long term support strategies.
Skills / Qualifications:
-Expert knowledge of, and experience in, converged technologies including T=
DM and IP voice, UC messaging and data networking.
-In-depth knowledge of network design and voice systems, including all lev=
els of Cisco switches and routers, Avaya Definity
G3, Cisco Unified Communication Manager, Dial plan configuration and routin=
g, SIP, H232, PRI and WAN protocols.
-Strong knowledge of voice and data network copper and fiber cabling infras=
tructure in a multi-campus environment
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the abili=
ty to effectively communicate with all levels of
-Able to remain focused and effectively adapt to rapidly changing environme=
nt and respond quickly to emergency situations.
-Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships, interacting a=
nd maintaining a strong sense of teamwork and
Education / Experience:
-Minimum 5 years' professional experience.
-Bachelor's Degree preferred, Associates degree or less acceptable =
with additional experience.
-Cisco certification in one or more of the following: CCVP, CCNA, CUCM, CME=
